Biology AI: Study Solver has no accounts, ads, or third-party tracking. We do not sell personal data.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

Saved questions, answers, quizzes, flashcards, study progress, purchase-access state, and an optional display name and study level are stored locally on your iPhone. The optional profile is not a cloud account and is not sent with solve requests. You can delete saved history in Settings.

CAMERA & PHOTOS

The app uses camera or photo-library access only when you capture or select a biology question. Apple Vision reads the image on your device. The original photo is not uploaded by the app’s solve client.

AI QUESTION PROCESSING

When cloud solving is enabled, the question text you review and confirm, answer choices, and basic subject or crop metadata are sent securely to the Biology AI solve service to produce the answer, quiz, and flashcards.

Biology AI keeps a successful response, which can include the reviewed question, for up to 24 hours so a network retry does not spend another solve. OpenAI does not train its models on API content by default, but may retain prompts and responses in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless stricter provider retention controls are enabled.

Do not include names, contact details, student IDs, health information, or other personal information in a question.

SERVICE SECURITY & USAGE

The service assigns a random installation identifier, verifies an Apple DeviceCheck token, and retains protected device, session, solve-count, and cost-control metadata. This is used only to authenticate requests, prevent abuse, enforce solve allowances, and operate the service.

Session records expire after up to 7 days, incomplete requests are removed after about 10 minutes, and successful retry caches expire within 24 hours. Protected installation, purchase, and quota records are retained as needed to prevent abuse, restore entitlements, and avoid delivering the same purchase twice. Hosting providers may process network and security metadata to operate the service.

This information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

ANALYTICS & TRACKING

The current app does not include advertising or cross-app tracking. Product analytics must not include raw question text or photos. If analytics or crash reporting is added, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before release.

PURCHASES

Apple processes App Store purchases. Biology AI does not receive or store payment-card details. The service verifies and retains App Store transaction identifiers, product and entitlement status, and solve-allowance usage to unlock paid features and prevent duplicate credit delivery.

CHILDREN, CHANGES & CONTACT

The app is a general-audience study tool and is not directed to children under 13. Policy updates will appear here with a new effective date. Questions can be sent to fai.siddiqui3@gmail.com.
